Inscribed Bouvier, London. Circa 1730
The gilt chain fusee verge movement with pierced decorative bridge cock, square baluster pillars, the silver champlev/ae dial with Roman numerals, Arabic five-minute divisions in cartouches, halberd half-hour marks, the pierced and engraved centrefield with blued steel background, date aperture, continental blued steel decorative hands, in plain inner case, in repouss/ae outer case, the back centred by a painted enamel scene of a courting couple
