A gilt two-train verge movement with gut and fusee, pierced decorative cock and irregular foot positioned on a block to the top plate and secured by one screw, with steel balance wheel now fitted (incorrectly) with hog-bristle regulator, blued steel worm gear set up with silver indicating dials, the striking train with pierced decorative going barrel and blued steel stopwork, brass countwheel with decorative and blued steel gate, striking the hours and half-hours on a bell, the silver dial with engraved Roman chapters, single blued steel hand, finely engraved scene of a town on a riverbank, mounted on a hinged brass movement plate with decorative scroll and floral engraving, in a circular pierced case with engraved scrollwork to the rim, back and to the hinged front cover with flowers and mythical birds, the pendant in the form of a tulip
