The redecorated case painted on the trunk door with country folk enjoying a beer at a table within a rustic landscape, two smaller landscapes above and below within a trellis painted border, the curved based painted with gilt flowers, foliate carved ears to the dial within a foliate carved wood bezel, the cream painted Roman dial signed JAMES McCABE Royal Exchange LONDON 3381, the four pillar single train movement with anchor escapement and weight drive with pulley mounted to the top right corner of the case
