Two Chinese celadon jade ceremonial discs
Qing dynasty. Probably 18th Century
The first worked from greyish green jade including opaque russet patches, carved in relief with two young dragons chilong engaged in mutual persuit, the reverse with shallow relief C-scrolls and small bosses - 10 cm. diam.
the second worked from mottled brown and greenish-white jade, incised in the front and back with mask-scrolls and lappets recalling the Han style - 8 cm. diam. (2)
