The brass movement with turned baluster columns, the frontplate pierced and engraved with chrysanthemums, weight-driven train with verge escapement and balance wheel regulation atop the plates, the nama-gata scale engraved with the Japanese characters, the hour bar with adjustable silvered pointer descending with the weight, key draw to base and detachable hood with sliding front glass
