A Japanese silvered and brass paperweight clock

The movement comprising two rectangular brass plates secured by six turned brass pillars extending through the backplate to form feet, the going train with spring barrel and silk-line drive via an unusual pulley system beneath the dial pulling a chrysanthemum flower pointer along the horizontal dial plate with steel Japanese chapters with blued steel half-hour markers, the verge escapement with foliate pierced bridgecock, the foliate engraved silver case with long glazed rectangular viewing glasses to the sides and sliding top, glazed escapement portal to the base and key draw to the side; with the original ribbon-tied softwood travelling box
