The shaped arms and balloon seat covered in a close-nailed gray suede, the back with ratcheted work surface above arms with swing out drawers and seat with further drawer, on cabriole legs ending in pad feet and joined by a ring-turned H-stretcher, stamped ARM, with chalk inventory number A1977, both hinges stamped CHING/LEVER, also bearing Stair & Co. New York trade label
