PRICED WITH BUYERS' NAMES in a contemporary hand in the Christie's picture catalogue. Sir William Bolland, Baron of the Exchequer, "a friend of Dibdin, who calls him 'Hortensius'" (de Ricci). In the Bibliographical Decameron. The Roxburghe Club was founded in Bolland's house, Adelphi Terrace in 1812. A unique copy, with an additional calligraphic title for all for sales, an ink drawing of Bolland's coat-of-arms, and a 12 page of neatly mounted contemporary newspaper articles about Bolland and the sale.
