A late Victorian Monteith rose bowl
of tapering circular form, on a fluted rising circular foot, the part-fluted body applied with lion's mask and ring-drop handles and a moulded body band and chased with bow and drapery swags, the shaped rim applied with cherub's masks, shells, scrolls and foliage, probably Hawksworth, Eyre & Co. Ltd., London 1901 - 8½in. (21.50cm.) overall, 26.25oz.
