A Victorian three-piece tea service
of compressed moulded circular form, on scrolling foliate feet and with elaborate scroll handles and applied rococo shell and S-scroll rims, each chased and embossed with flowers, foliage and scalework and with erased C-scroll cartouches, the teapot with chased spout and domed hinged cover with finial modelled as a bird with outstretched wings, probably Charles Boyton, London 1866 and 1867 - height of teapot 7½in. (19cm.), 47.75oz. (3)
