Sale catalogue of the library of the orientalist Langlès, with a preface by Édouard Gautier, and a summary of Langlès' writings. The sale, which realized 117,625 francs, was described by G. Brunet as "Très riche en voyages et en livres de linguistique, il offre une sorte de bibliographie orientale." The most expensive item of the sale was Langlès's almost complete set of De Bry's Grands & Petits Voyages 650 francs, of which a 7-page collation is given. This copy contains the 89-page Index of Authors and Anonymous Titles, plus the printed list of prices realized.
