The breakarch hood (lacking finials) with glazed side panels and ebonised pilasters to the front, the tail with repoussée brass vase mount to the lenticle, the painted iron dial applied with silvered arcaded Roman and Arabic chapter ring within a polychrome painted pressed brass bezel, painted canal and village scene with automaton windmill feature and clock tower with revolving hand, brass hands with alarm-setting disc, the thirty-hour two train movement with typical baluster columns, anchor escapement and countwheel strike on bell
