Well cast standing on a lotus base over a square plinth with petal borders holding a waterpot and lotus, wearing a dhoti with incised floral patterns and tied with a sash undulating down the sides, her rounded face with a benign expression flanked by large earrings in the pendulous lobes and braided conical headdress centered by a half-moon, the foot of the base flanked by a makara

Compare with a bronze figure of a lotus-bearing goddess in the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, with similar modeling and large chest, in P. Pal, Indian Sculpture, vol. 2, 1988, p. 221, cat. no. 115. The present example is exceptionally finely articulated in the round.
