Both very finely carved and gilt with flame borders; one deeply carved with three Tathagatas seated within elaborate aureoles surrounded by guardian figures and Bodhisattvas; the other with and an amrita vase at center issuing lotus scrolls encircling figures of Jambhala and the four guardian kings; three sides gilt with one side carved with scrollwork centered by a kirttimukha mask and bearing the Tibetan letter ka, the reverse of both painted red

The text originally held between these covers probably related to wealth and long life as indicated by the presence of Jambhala and the amrita vase.
