The well-hollowed bottle of bulbous, rounded-rectangular shape with one flattened side, the stone of even greenish-yellow tone with a large area of feathery russet markings isolated on the flattened side, stopper

Lot Essay

A jade bottle of this type, with russet skin to the flattened side, is in the collection of Denis Low and is illustrated in More Treasures from The Sanctum of Enlightened Respect, Hong Kong, 2002, p. 69, no. 63.
