Well carved as a flattened ovoid vase rising from rocks and waves as a scaly dragon crawls around the neck in pursuit of a flaming pearl, the semi-translucent stone of very pale greyish-green color; 'raised on' a silver wire-inlaid wood stand, both stand and vase attached to a flat wood back set with two copper hooks
