The blade hirazukuri, iori-mune, chu-kissaki with a shallow toriizori curvature; forging pattern ko-mokume with o-hada; tempered edge chu-suguha of nie with a komaru-boshi; bohi carved on both sides; tang ubu with kurijiri heel, kiri file marks and two holes (one plugged); gilt-copper habaki
