Edo period (18th century), sealed Shiomi Masanari and signed Gyonen nanajusai [age 70] Shiomi Masanari ga
Lacquered with a black ground gradually changing to nashiji at the bottom and decorated with a dragonfly clinging to grasses in red and silver togidashi and gold takamaki-e, the reverse with a praying mantis in gold takamaki-e, interior cases black lacquer with fundame edges
