AN EGYPTIAN TURQUOISE GLAZED COMPOSITION AMULET OF THE GODDESS ISIS

Strung on a necklace comprising elongated turquoise barrel-shaped beads interspersed with disc-shaped beads, restrung, late New Kingdom, late 2nd-early 1st millennium B.C., amulet 1¾ in. (4.5 cm.) high; an Egyptian bronze figure of an apis bull, wearing a sun-disc and uraeus headdress, with incised collar and blanket over the back, on integral base, Dynasty XXX-Ptolemaic, circa 4th-2nd Century B.C., mounted, 2½ in. (6.5 cm.) long; and a turquoise glazed composition shabti with central panel of incised hieroglyphs, holding pick and hoe in crossed arms, with seed basket over left shoulder, Late Period-Ptolemaic, 6th-1st Century B.C., 5 in. (12.7 cm.) high (3)
