Of circular capstan form with a shaped rim, applied with three shields between the words MEMOR, PRISTINT and VIRTUTIS, the shields each with a heraldic badge, the hinged cover with a badge, the rim engraved with a presentation inscription, with a pale green glass liner, the base loaded, marked on edge, and inside cover, the edge further engraved 'OMAR RAMSDEN ME FECIT'
6 1/8 in. (15.5 cm.) diameter
The badge is that of The 22nd London Regiment, (The Queen's).
The inscription reads: 'TO CAPT ALEXANDER PATERSON M.C. FROM C. F. H. GREENWOOD ST GEORGE'S DAY 1927'
