A GEORGE V 18CT GOLD PRESENTATION GOBLET
MARK OF OMAR RAMSDEN, LONDON, 1928
The circular section bowl with a slightly flaring rim, supported on a lobed pedestal foot, engraved with a presentation inscription, the stem modelled as shields, engraved with alternating coats-of-arms and badges, marked on bowl, the base engraved 'OMAR RAMSDEN ME FECIT'
6 1/8 in. (15.6 cm.) high
14.4 oz. (448 gr.)
The arms are those of Hugh Cecil Lowther (1857-1944), fifth Earl of Lonsdale.

The badge is that of the Automobile Association.

The inscription reads: 'I WAS WROUGHT FOR THE EARL OF LONSDALE TO MARK HIS GOLDEN WEDDING DAY JUNE 27TH, 1928 BY COMMAND OF THE AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION'
