The breakarch hood with later door, on later/shortened plinth, the 12 in. square cut-away brass dial with later Punch and Judy disc swinging with the pendulum, bird and urn spandrels to silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with half hour markers, signed John Boot Sutton Ashfield, matted centre with ringed mock winding holes, recessed subsidiary seconds disc and arch date aperture, anchor escapement and strike on bell, also with later bell; associated, second half 18th century -- 79 in. (201 cm.) high
