A Regency Scottish mahogany and satinwood line inlaid longcase clock, circa 1820
The hood with small side roundels, fluted pilasters to trunk door, plinth on raised foot, the 12 in. diameter painted Roman dial with subsidiary seconds and date rings, signed BRYSON EDINBURGH, pinned directly to the eight day movement with four pillars, anchor escapement and rack strike on bell -- 87½ in. (222 cm.) high
