A William IV mahogany, satinwood-banded and marquetry inlaid musical longcase clock, circa 1835
The swan neck hood with slender brass-capped outset columns, short trunk door with inlays above and below, flanked by short reeded pilasters, the plinth raised on bracket feet, the 13 in. wide white painted dial with spandrels depicting male musicians, Roman chapters with Arabic quarters, signed M. Bradberry/Leyburn, blued steel hands, the arch with music selection for Jenny Baubee/God save the King/La belle Ifabelle/Money Muft, pinned directly to the eight day movement with four pillars, anchor escapement and rack strike on bell, with music on eight bells with sixteen hammers via a 4¾ in. long music barrel -- 95 in. (241.5 cm.) high
