The hood with carved cresting, brass fish scale sound frets to the sides, with brass stop-fluted double columns to the front, the trunk with inset triple columns and the plinth applied with raised panel, the 12 in. wide gilt-brass dial with foliate spandrels to silvered chapter ring, the arch with rings for chime & strike/silent and music selection (Easter Hymn, The Tank, Bold Dragoon, Morcianna in Ireland, Lord Wellington, Devil's Dream, Robin Adair), the centre with rings for seconds, age of moon and date, the substantial eight day three train movement with anchor escapement, music on thirteen bells via 4½ in. music barrel, hour strike on further bell -- 104½ in. (264 cm.) high
