NORTH IRAN, 14TH CENTURY
Rising from the short foot through conical sides angling up to vertical band below the T-section rim, the white interior painted in lustre and blue and occasional turquoise spots with a central tree flanked by two birds on a ground of dense floral designs, bands of geometric meander above, the rim with small circle motifs between plain lustre bands, the exterior with large stylized palmette panels below a band of vertical blue and lustre stripes, intact, one area of iridescence on interior
