Lot Essay

Vittorio Amedeo III (1726-1796), King of Sardinia from 1773 to 1796, styled Duke of Aosta from his birth until his father's accession and then became Prince of Piedmont. He married Antonieta Fernanda (1729-1785), daughter of Felipe V, King of Spain and the Indies on 31 May 1750.
