Dr. Alfred Weidinger will include this drawing in the second volume of his Kokoschka catalogue raisonné.

Nell Walden (1887-1975), a Swedish born painter, was the second wife of the art dealer Herwarth Walden, owner of the influential avant-garde Berlin gallery Der Sturm and publisher of its namesake periodical. She was instrumental in promoting the careers of the most important Expressionist artists such as Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Erich Heckel, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee, Franz Marc, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff as well as Kokoschka.
