Lacquer vessels with archaistic forms and designs have been published, such as the ones from Gugong Bowu Yuancang Diaoqi, wenwu chubanshe, 1985, pls. 323-325. However, the present pair of ding appears to be unique, as none of similar tripod shape have been published.
