With gilt brass cylinder movement, pierced and engraved cock with decorative engraved foot, plain three arm balance, chain fusée, turned baluster pillars, under dust cover, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, Arabic five minute divisions, fine gold hands, pierced and engraved inner case decorated throughout, small lever at three position for strike/no strike, outer case with finely painted oval enamel scene to the reverse depicting a young lady in the country playing her castanets, white enamel decorative border, surrounded by translucent blue enamel on guilloché background, the front and back rims similarly decorated with pearls, burgundy stones and translucent blue enamel decorative motifs, shaped five piece hinge, movement and dust cover signed and numbered
