With gilt brass cylinder movement, chain fusée, plain three arm steel balance, pierced and engraved cock with decoratively engraved foot, diamond endstone, turned baluster pillars, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, Arabic five minute divisions, gold beetle and poker hands, plain inner case with signed dust cover, outer case with finely painted oval enamel scene depicting a young lady in the countryside carrying a basket with two white doves, gold and white enamel accented border, translucent red enamel on guilloché background surrounding the image, rims similarly decorated with green, red and white enamel motifs, shaped five piece hinge, movement and dust cover both signed and numbered, inner and outer cases stamped by the casemaker and with English hallmarks
