representing Winter and Spring, Winter modelled as a bearded old man, standing, arms folded, wearing a fur lined cape, at his feet, a putto chopping wood and a burning brazier, Spring modelled as a lady, wearing flowing robes, picking blooms from a basket of flowers held by an attendant putto, on footed square shaped bases moulded with scrolls, blue crossed swords and incised marks -- 11¼in. (28.6cm.) high, late 19th century (some damages and repairs)
