The hood with glazed side panels and brass-capped columns to front and rear, trunk door with moulded frame, 13 in. wide brass dial with female mask and foliate spandrels to silvered chapter ring with half hour and half quarter hour divisions, border engraving below 30, matted centre with chamfered edges to winding holes and date aperture, silvered plaque for strike/silent above 60, a shallow convex disc to the arch signed Markwick Markham/LONDON, the movement with four ringed pillars and one later plain pillar, anchor escapement and rack strike on bell; case possibly associated to dial and movement
