The case with urn finials and glazed side panels, breakarch dial with silvered chapter ring, strike/silent ring in the arch, twin fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell; mahogany wall bracket

Lot Essay

This clock is sold together with a framed photograph of it, along with text explaining that the case has been constructed using wood from a broken shot gun stock and that the movement was adapted in 1960 by Rowley Parkes of Clerkenwell
