Of inverted helmet form with a central band, supported on a spreading foot, the hinged cover with a baluster finial and applied cut-card work, all supported on an ebonised plinth, applied with a silver plaque which is engraved with an inscription, marked on side and inside cover, the base further engraved 'WM. DRUMMOND & CO. MELBOURNE'
The ewer 7 1/8 in. (18 cm.) high
18.5 oz. (575 gr.)
The inscription reads: 'PRESENTED TO THE HON. ARTHUR LOVEKIN M.I.C. BY THE ROYAL INSURANCE CO. LTD. ON THE OCCASION OF THE OPENING OF IT'S PERTH BUILDING 17TH MARCH, 1930'
