Oval, the cover set with five large striated agates within applied gilt-metal scrollwork decoration, opening to reveal a gilt-metal set of sewing tools comprising:
a needlecase;
a stiletto;
a thimble;
a pair of scissors;
a bodkin;
a penknife;
and a combination ear spoon and tweezers -- length of case 5½ins. (14cms.)
