A long-sleeved collarless jacket of green wool, with lobed details of ivory wool to the front, trimmed in green braid, with a green felt strap fastening to the chest, with Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer wardrobe label inside inscribed in black ink with the number 38 -- made for a townsperson in the 1939 M.G.M. film The Wizard of Oz; accompanied by a corresponding black and white still (printed later) -- 8x10in. The accompanying photograph clearly shows a townsperson standing to the left of the Tin Man wearing an identical jacket to the one in this lot.
