The rectangular hinged top enclosing a fitted interior with receptacles for washing accoutrements, above a pair of panelled doors enclosing three mahogany-lined drawers with reeded gilt metal handles, above a vertical division, on a plinth base, on countersunk castors, with associated Mason's Ironstone 'Swansea' pattern circular ceramic wash bowl, vase, circular soapdish and cover, ewer and chamberpot and with later covered blue and white leaf-pattern rectangular bowl, the interior with canvas label printed 'R.200', the reverse inscribed in chalk 'SHERBORNE' and branded 'VR' around a crown '1866 WINDSOR CASTLE ROOM 546' and branded with George IV's (or William IV's? - Kings Crown) inventory crown mark and inscribed in pencil '470(?)'
