A check for [$15.00] to "Rev. Mc Millan or Bearer," written after T.R.'s return from his African safari and only months before charging into his "Bull Moose" candidacy on the Progressive ticket in 1912. A check written early in the year in which he was elected to the White House to Frank M. Talbott for [$5.75].
