sugar lift aquatint, 1949, on Arches, signed in red crayon, a proof aside from the edition of 245 (there was also an edition of thirty on Japon nacré), published by Les Editeurs Français Réunis, Paris, 1964, with wide margins, a deckle edge below and left, a crease at the upper right sheet corner, some very pale time staining at the extreme sheet edges, otherwise in good condition
