A CHELSEA SCENT-BOTTLE
CIRCA 1760
Modelled as two youths attempting to build a house of cards, either side of a flower-encrusted tree-stump, one wearing a black tricorn hat, turquoise jacket and yellow breeches, the other with his hair en queue, wearing a puce flowered coat and yellow breeches, the underside of the domed base gilt with flowers below a green dentil rim, with a gilt-metal mount and foliate stopper (minor chipping to flowers, staining and over-painting to neck and edge of base, areas of very minor wear to enamels)
