This work is sold with a photo-certificate from Maya Widmaier-Picasso dated Paris le 3 Avril 2005.

Please see note to lot 310. In this sketch, the eighth and final study in the 29 October 1970 series of Jacqueline heads, Picasso has drawn a three-quarter view, with the eyes placed on either side of the nose, in contrast to the previous sketches, in which both eyes appear on the left side of the face.
