'NR 3921' would have been registered new under Leicestershire County Council, its date of registration being 12th May 1924, and it was within this same jurisdiction that it is first recorded after the war in 1950, when the log book it retains was issued. At that time Maurice Brown of Loughborough was its owner, and he kept it for a further two years before selling to Charles Abbey of the same city. Three years later on 21st April 1955, the Rover ventured south to High Wycombe when it became the property of Peter Green.

Although not stated on the log book it is thought that the last date of road tax in 1957 would represent the approximate time when it passed to the Sharpe Family. Nor can an actual date be confirmed of when it was first laid up, but again judging by others within the barn it has been kept, this may well be four or more decades.

Today the Rover appears generally complete, and although seemingly in fair order, owing to its storage must be considered in need of thorough attention.

Special notice
No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 17.5% will be added to the buyer's premium, which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis.
