Inlaid overall with delicate arabesques the slanted rectangular top with architectural pediment centred by a panel inlaid with initials HYRA, inlaid with simulated ormamental hinges, above two hinged panels enclosing three Danish riverlandscapes, oil on ivory, the centre piece signed and dated C F Aagaard 1879 (lower right), outer wings signed with monogram CFA linked (lower right), above a tapering hexagonal and ring-turned stem, on splayed cabriole legs, decorated with rosettes
