The case with brass handle to the glazed top with ripple mouldings, silvered dial signed Chas Frodsham London No. 2411, Roman chapter ring with pierced blued steel hands, subsidiary rings for seconds and up-and-down, the movement with substantial spotted brass plates and four double screwed gilt baluster pillars, maintaining power to the fusee, spotted escapement platform signed Chas. Frodsham & Co. Ld 27 So Molton St. London W., diamond endstone to cut bimetallic balance with circular compensation weights and palladium helical balance spring, Earnshaw-type spring detent escapement; together with the original(?) pine travelling box
