NEW CELESTIAL GLOBE Pubd by J.& W. Cary Strand made up of twelve hand-coloured engraved gores laid to the ecliptic poles, the iron axis pins at the celestial poles, with graduated equatorial and ecliptic and ungraduated colures, the constellations shown with green-coloured dotted boundaries with stars to various orders of magnitude, some named, many labelled with numbers or Greek or Roman characters, in a spherical wooden fishskin-covered case, the interior painted red, with two brass hooks and eyes
