A famille rose revolving baluster vase, early 20th century
the millefiore ground ovoid revolving body with three pierced panels of precious objects and flowering stems among cloud scrolls, each panel revealing the cylindrical shaft painted with two birds perched on prunus branches supported on an openwork ruyi head base, the neck applied with twin sinuous guei dragon handles, iron red Qianlong six-character sealmark to base -- 13½in. (34.3cm.) high, original fitted wood box.
