painted in copper red with a central raised band of dragons amongst lotus scrolls flanking a stylised shou character roundel and with further raised ruyi, lappet and key fret bands to the foot, shoulder and neck, all on a mottled cream ground, the eyes of the dragons highlighted in blue -- 16½in. (41.9cm.) high.
