painted to the centre with a writhing dragon chasing a flaming pearl amidst scolling clouds and flames, within a cell pattern border to the rim, the reverse of rim glazed blue with underglaze blue Xuande six-character sealmark to base --11 3/8in. (28.9cm.) diam., fitted box.
