An eight fold wooden screen, 19th century
inset with famille rose plaques, variously inscribed and painted with scenes of warriors, gentlemen, ladies and Immortals on terraces, in gardens, rocky landscapes and interiors, within mirror backed panels, pierced and carved with floral and foliate designs, the wood inlaid in mother-of-pearl to the edges -- each panel 50½in. x 9½in. (128.3cm x 24cm).
